Tools to understand quick service restaurant Consumers and Customers

  • You can also use the search box to search for "Limited Service Restaurants" (this is what Passport calls quick service and fast food)
  • Bear in mind that Passport is a global database, so you will need to narrow your results by country or region
  • Search Mintel for "fast food" or "quick service" to find market research reports
  • These reports will describe consumer motivations, customer demographics, market trends, and more.
  • Use Simmons to find national-level demographic profiles of people who eat at specific restaurant brands
  • Can also be used to find consumer attitudes about food
  • Use SImplyAnalytics to find restaurant expenditures and frequency of dining at the local level. 
  • As an example, you can use SimplyAnalytics to get the percentage of people who eat at Chick-fil-A frequently by county in Ohio.
