On your computer (outside Premiere), create a dedicated folder for your project (for example: MyFirstEdit_Project).
Inside that folder, create subfolders like: Footage, Audio, Graphics, Exports. This helps you stay organized.
Back in Premiere Pro: go to File → Project Settings → Scratch Disks… and make sure the paths match your folder structure. Good practice prevents lost files later.
Also check your footage’s frame rate, resolution and aspect ratio (for example 1920×1080 at 23.976 fps) so your sequence settings will match.
