Step 5: Create a Sequence
In the Project panel locate your main video clip (or decide on settings).
Right-click on the clip and choose New Sequence from Clip. This automatically creates a sequence with matching settings (resolution, frame rate).
Alternatively: File → New → Sequence… and select a preset or customize manually.
Rename the sequence (e.g., “Main_Edit”) and drag it into a bin called “Sequences” to keep things tidy.
Double-click the sequence to open it in the Timeline panel. You’re now ready to edit!
