Getting Started with Adobe Premiere Pro

If you’re new to Premiere Pro, this tutorial will guide you through the very first steps of starting a video-editing project.

Step 4: Import Your Media

  1. In the Project panel (left side by default), right-click and choose Import…, or drag & drop your footage, audio and graphics into it.
  2. Organize your imported items into bins (folders) inside the Project panel: e.g., a bin named Video Clips, another named Audio, another Graphics.
  3. You can color-code bins or rename them for clarity. Good organization saves time later.
