Getting Started with Adobe Premiere Pro

If you’re new to Premiere Pro, this tutorial will guide you through the very first steps of starting a video-editing project.

Step 1: Create a New Project

1. Launch Premiere Pro.

2. On the welcome screen, choose “New Project” (or go to File → New → Project…).

3. In the dialog:

  • Name your project something meaningful (e.g., “MyFirstEdit”).
  • Choose a location on your drive where you’ll save the project file.
  • Click OK (or Create) to open the project.
