Citation Styles and Tools
There are numerous methods of citing the sources you use in research projects. Academic disciplines, and even specific journals, often have their own unique styles. There are various tools and guides to help with the style for the American Medical Association (AMA):
- A circulating copy of the printed AMA Manual of Style
- An online guide from the Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library at George Washington University
- An interactive "builder" tool from the Son of Citation Machine — Be sure to check the results of this and any other "builder" tool; some are more accurate than others.
