The Jesse Stuart CollectionJesse Stuart was a Kentucky-based author who wrote 59 major works throughout his lifetime. The Mahn Center holds both manuscript materials and rare books. His writing takes various forms including novels, short stories, poetry, essays, and more. Stuart wrote both fictional and nonfiction pieces about his life in Kentucky.
