Contains more than 30,000 individual network evening news broadcasts from 1968 to the present and over 9,000 hours of special news-related programming. The collection covers all of the major U.S. national broadcast networks: ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN. The special reports and periodic news broadcasts included in the collection cover presidential press conferences and political campaign coverage, and national and international events.

Use Access World News to find the text of newspapers and blogs published by news outlets, as well as transcripts of television and radio news programs, both local and national. Content can be searched by keyword or you can browse for a specific date. Access World News also compiles a daily list of major US headlines. Ohio-based news sources including the Athens Messenger from 2009 to the present

Academic Video Online (AVON) delivers more than 64,000 video titles spanning the widest range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film and more. AVON includes every kind of video material available with curricular relevance: documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs and newsreels, field recordings, commercials, and raw footage. Users will find thousands of award-winning films, as well as the most frequently used films for classroom instruction, plus newly released films and previously unavailable archival material.
