National Standard for FCSLEAD is a "network of state administrators" of FCS programs, the people who "collaborate with business partners, develop standards and curriculum, evaluate local CTE programs, identify industry-recognized credentials, recruit FCS teachers, coordinate professional development for teachers, support the intracurricular Career & Technical Student Organization, the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), promote best practices and research-based instruction, provide technical support and assistance to local administrators, and advocate for Family & Consumer Sciences. State administrators typically work for the state education agency that serves as the administrator of Career & Technical Education (CTE) funding and program leadership."
