Articles Plus, the search box on the library home page, will get us to many articles focusing on our topic.
If you use the search boxes wisely, you can do precise searching to get good academic articles.
1. Use the words from the Words! tab. These are the terms most used in databases to describe our subjects
2. List words that are synonyms and related terms for the aspect of HCS history that interests you
3. You may need to add the word "History" if it isn't assumed by your chosen aspect.
4. Click the limit box for "scholarly" so the results are from academic sources.
This applies to searching in ANY database!
