Step 4: Import the Media into Premiere Pro

  1. In Premiere Pro, go to the Project panel (usually bottom-left).

  2. Use one of the following methods to import:

    • Choose File → Import…, then navigate to your computer folder and select the files you copied from your phone.

    • Or simply drag the media files from your computer folder into the Project panel.

  3. Organize the imported media within the Project panel:

    • Create bins (folders) inside the Project panel such as PhoneFootage, PhonePhotos, PhoneAudio.

    • Drag the imported media into these bins.

  4. Once media is in the Project panel, you can double-click a clip to preview it, check resolution, frame rate, and confirm it looks correct.
