How to find a conference proceeding volume
Look for these keywords in the citation to determine if you are looking for a conference paper: proceeding, symposium, meeting, colloquium, seminar, convention, congress, or forum. If you do not have a complete citation, try a database to find additional information.
- Try the beginning portion of the conference name as a title search in ALICE Catalog.
- If the title search fails, use three or four important terms from the conference name in a keyword search within ALICE Catalog.
- If the keyword search fails, use interlibrary loan to obtain the paper.
Do not spend more than 15 minutes looking for a conference paper. Many papers are difficult to find. Contact me, I am here to help.
