Students will walk away with an in-depth look at comprehensive searching for EBP (evidence-based practice) literature and have a more cemented concept of EBP and evaluating the research literature.
Session will be very active-learning focused.
The above is to support their class assignment: each student will be assigned to a group and research a clinically–relevant topic/question to present to the class. Each group will review at least 5 research articles on a related topic and complete the EBP steps to evaluate it and make a final group summation and recommendation for clinical application.
