  • Note that other larger companies, such as Sony Corporation, also have subsidiaries in the music industry. 
  • Search Mergent Market Atlas for information about public companies in the idustry. 
  • Information includes:

  • Privco is especially useful in finding private companies associated with the music industry. 
  • Search by name of private company or keyword.  
  • For an advanced search
    1. Click the Search button in the top right of the blue navigation menu
    2. Use the Filters option to search for 
      • Keyword: music or audio
      • Industry: Entertainment
    3. This will generate a list of companies. 
  • Search by company name to find profies for a company.
  • Use the advanced search to find companies by industry code in a specific location.
