Global data for the outdoor recreation industry, needless to say, ain't easy to come by. I've been getting a few questions, so I made a video that shows how to find consumer expenditures by country on outdoor recreation and culture durable goods. This data includes outdoor equipment such as canoes, kayaks, camper vans, and such, but also include indoor culture equipment, such as musical instruments (bizarre, right?). There isn't a way to separate them out and get more granular than that. Sorry about that! Nevertheless, what you'd want to look at is trends in expenditures, and if those trends follow the same trajectory as what you have found with the U.S. market.
