Map Business Locations to Data Variables

Use SimplyAnalytics to map custom variables, then overlay businesses (including names, locations, owner, etc.) on top of the map. This is a great way to visually demonstrate competition in a local market.

Step-By-Step: Create a Data Map

  1. When you first log in, search for locations that you want to study.
  2. Choose  any relevant seed variables on the next screen
  3. SimplyAnalytics will automatically load the map screen upon first login.
  4. If another page loads, click the Map icon on the right side of the page.
  5. Use the Search Menu on the left side to search for additional variables to map
  6. Note that you can only map one data variable at time
  7. Use the Business Search (top left of page) to search by business name or industry code (SIC or NAICS), or browse industries.
