OU Student Activism - In the Archives
The Alden Library archives has enough info on the student movements of the 60s and 70s to keep you there all day. Contact archivist Bill Kimok if you want to see items in person or desire more information.
- Collection on Student Activism 1960-1975Several boxes of documents and papers on the protests at OU. Includes police reports, ROTC papers, President's report following 1970 closure, news clippings, other papers and reports.

- The Post and Other Local NewspapersThis page describes where in what formats local papers are available. Especially important for student history is The Post, of course. You will want to scan widely, and consider many different applicable words: Viet Nam War Protests, Civil Rights Movement, Student Activism, etc.
- The Athena Yearbooks - All of Them OnlineThe 1970 yearbook is a masterwork. Students were sent home mid-term, and no graduation was held. Their bare-bones yearbook ends with a picture of an empty classroom.
