In July 2018, Ohio University administration announced a new updated policy regarding student expression on OHIO’s campus. OHIO students have been expressing themselves and OHIO administrators have been reacting to student expression since the very first Board of Trustees resolutions governing student behavior in 1812.

Using dozens of images of photographs, handbooks, student publications, and other interesting archived materials, Ohio University Archivist Bill Kimok presents "A Somewhat Brief and Very Random History of Student Expression on Ohio University’s Campus, 1812-2018." Kimok's recorded presentation will be made publicly available via the Libraries' YouTube Channel on October 5th at the start of Homecoming week. Participants are encouraged to view the recorded presentation in advance of a live Q&A that the Libraries is hosting on October 8th.
