What is COVID-19?
COVID-19, an acronym for 'coronavirus disease 2019', is a virus that was identified in 2019 and has a huge range of symptoms from having no symptoms to life threatening symptoms that will require hospitalization.
COVID-19 mainly spreads from person to person through respiratory droplets which means it can spread from coughing, sneezing, talking, and even touching the same surfaces. Currently there is no cure for COVID but there are preventative measures that can be taken such as wearing a mask, washing hands often, and social distancing.
