An article database indexing nearly 11,000 journals and magazines covering a broad range of fields. (Business topics are better searched in its companion database, Business Source Complete.) Includes full text for over 5,000 of the journals and magazines and images from many of the articles.

Indexes over 500 journals with coverage going back to 1929.

Academic Video Online (AVON) delivers more than 64,000 video titles spanning the widest range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film and more. AVON includes every kind of video material available with curricular relevance: documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs and newsreels, field recordings, commercials, and raw footage. Users will find thousands of award-winning films, as well as the most frequently used films for classroom instruction, plus newly released films and previously unavailable archival material.

The Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) provides a vast collection of information on children’s books and related media. It features over 130,000 critical reviews covering everything from baby board books to young adult novels and nonfiction. Additionally, more than 1,500 new reviews are added each month. The database also allows users to search for children’s literature within the Ohio University Libraries collections.

The Docuseek2 Collection contains streaming video of documentaries by producers, distributors, and independent filmmakers from around the world. The documentaries focus on contemporary social issues in a variety of disciplines, including environmental sciences, political and social sciences, history, health, psychology, and more. The collection includes films from distributors such as Bullfrog Films, dGenerate Films, Fanlight Productions, Icarus Films, Kartemquin, and the National Film Board of Canada. Currently we have access to Black Studies Collection, and numerous environmental studies films.

Portal to streaming video content for educational, documentary, independent and art house films from hundreds of content providers; Kino, Bullfrog, Criterion, PBS, DER, plus more. Major subjects covered include: The arts, business and training, health sciences, media and communication, natural sciences, social sciences, and teacher education. Users can search, browse and see previews of videos; many videos come with transcripts.
