AnthroSource
Another small-set database, indexing about 30 journals associated with the AAA, Wiley journals.
ANDs and ORs, etc., must be typed in upper case to work.
Also, the search looks at the Full Text of the articles, so you get lots of near misses and false drops.

Abstracts in Anthropology
This Sage journal publishes abstracts to articles in other journals. It includes "3,000 abstracts per volume." To search inside the journal, use the search on the SIDE.
Note: that makes a pretty small database.
You may have to try more words and synonyms than usual to get at good articles using this tool.

Clicking out to the article takes you to that SECTION of this index; you then have to find the abstract, then find the actual article elsewhere!
And be careful not to use the search box at the top -- that covers the whole EJC. You could find useful stuff, but realize it's most likely outside this very limited-scope index.
Anthropological Index Online
A free index from the (British) Royal Anthropological Institute. "Nearly 800 journals, published in more than 40 languages, are indexed on a continuing basis. Records cover 1957 to the present."

Watch the search choices carefully. There isn't a "search everything" option. Also, no abstracts or links to full text here.

Scopus
Heavy on science, but important for its citation-tracking ability. Includes unique articles not found in Articles Plus.
PubMed
Useful for biological anthropology. Provides access to over 16 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s.
SocINDEX
Useful for socio-cultural anthropology. Provides full text of journal articles, as well as indexing for books, monographs, conference papers, and other sources. EBSCO database, included in Articles Plus.
Business Source Complete
This basic business database will cover, for example, economic anthropology, sociology of markets, business news and changes relevant to our field.
