Overview

Cotton Club signThis Guide focuses on Jazz History and Performance. It does not attempt to cover all types of music research tools; for help with more general research in Music, see our Music Research Guide.

For in-depth help doing research in Music Therapy, see the information on the Contact/Need Help? page.

Oxford Music Online and ArticlesPlus (below) are great places to start your research. See other pages in this Guide for more in-depth research.

  • All JSTOR journals that we have
  • Several newspaper databases
  • ALICE Catalog (books, videos, names of magazines, journals, and newspapers, and more)
