Selecting a Database

Scholarly Journals, magazines, trade journals and conference papers

The library subscribes to many subject specific databases along with ArticlesPlus which searches the majority (but not all) of the databases we have access to. Below is an abbreviated list of science and engineering related databases.

Newspapers

The library subscribes to newspapers from many geographic locations and time periods, and in many formats such as print, online, or microfilm. Note: Newspapers are good to find primary historical sources (news articles) on your technology when you limit your search results by date.
